The Business Center assists eligible MBEs in growing their businesses and competing in domestic and global markets. The Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), a bureau of the U.S. Department of Commerce, leads Federal Government efforts to promote the growth and global competitiveness of America’s growing minority business enterprise (MBE) community. Through MBDA’s services, MBEs are better equipped to create jobs, contribute to local economies, and sustain America’s position as a world economic leader.
Services include identification of domestic and global financing opportunities, equity financing, brokerage of financial transactions, identification and closure of merger and acquisition transactions.
Services include identification of procurement opportunities, solicitation analysis, bid and proposal preparation, negotiation and closing, research contract award histories.
Services include assistance with certification attainment. Orlando MBDA Business Consultants work with individual clients to determine which certifications will best serve their business and assist with the application process.
Services include government procurement assistance, private sector contract identification and specialized certification assistance including 8(a), and assistance with market research.
Services include sales consulting and forecasting, market feasibility studies, operations management and quality control, bid preparation and bonding (construction), and manufacturing facility leasing.
Industry leaders conduct workshops and seminars designed to teach minority entrepreneurs how to take their businesses to the next level.
